Meet Laura
With over nearly 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist and creative arts therapist, Laura brings a relational, embodied approach to every space she holds. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship — and that the body holds wisdom our words haven't yet found.
As a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP), board-certified dance/movement therapist, and licensed creative arts therapist, she integrates somatic awareness, creative expression, and interpersonal process into group therapy, clinical supervision, and community movement practice.
How we can work together

Women's Process Group
Now FormingA relational process group exploring themes of identity, connection, and change. Through group dialogue, creative expression, and embodied awareness, members develop deeper self-understanding and more fulfilling ways of relating to others.
Interpersonal Process Group
OpenAn interpersonal process group grounded in the here-and-now of group experience. Members gain insight into their relational styles, practice new ways of connecting, and build tolerance for vulnerability — all within a supportive, therapist-facilitated space.
Embodied Expression Group
WaitlistThis group weaves together dance/movement therapy, creative expression, and group process. Participants explore their inner landscapes through the body, using movement and art-making as pathways to emotional insight and relational growth.
Authentic Movement Circle
OpenA small, intentional circle for exploring Authentic Movement — a practice of non-directed movement, inner listening, and compassionate witnessing. No dance experience necessary. This is not a therapy group, but a space for embodied exploration and community.
“I believe that we heal in the same way we were hurt — in relationship. Group work offers something no individual session can: the lived experience of being truly seen and held by others.”
— Laura Raffa, BC-DMT, LCAT, CGP
